The future transport Hackathon returns

The TSC is excited to announce the second IMCreate Intelligent Mobility Hackathon.  Which will take place on the 4th and 5th of June at the Imovation Centre in Milton Keynes.

Coders, business thinkers, technical experts and designers from academia and industry will compete for 24hrs to come up with the next big idea for transport, using a huge array of data sets and cutting edge hardware. The three best ideas from the event will go on to a showcase event at the Imagine Festival in June having had further time to develop their idea.

The first IMCreate was won by Team ‘Tubester’, consisting of Vladyslav Piskunov from Myintranet, Sam Li of AECOM and Sami Moustachir from Stratagem Technology. ‘Tubester’ used WIFI mapping and smartphone accelerometers to alert users when their tube stop is approaching, even though GPS is unavailable underground.

If you would like to take part in ‘ImCreate2’ visit for more information.
