The third annual edition of the Smarter Travel sustainable travel & technology expo is asking attendees to “help shape the future of mobility in our towns and cities”. Taking place at Birmingham’s International Conference Centre, the event is open to everyone working in the smarter travel sector, including new technology entrepreneurs, local and central government departments and representatives of all Local Sustainable Travel Fund (LTSF) awarded regions.
As event co-sponsors, the Transport Systems Catapult will be heavily involved in this year’s edition. Our Chief Technology Officer Dr Paul Zanelli will take part in the opening keynote presentations on “Sustainable Travel for Smarter Cities”. Catapult representatives Martin Tugwell and Andrew Payne will also be giving talks on “The Whole Journey Concept” and “Embedding Innovation in Investment Decision-Making” as part of the second day’s streamed sessions.
