The legacy of Britain’s railway engineering expertise can be seen around the world and today there are still many current examples of world class innovation led by British companies. However, the needs of today’s railways are very different and the market place for railway engineering is genuinely global. This is where RIA’s ‘Unlocking Innovation Scheme’ seeks to make a difference – by helping supply chain companies in the UK to overcome the obstacles to innovation in the rail sector.
The 13th workshop in the series is open to all rail industry clients and suppliers (including those who aren’t members of RIA), as long as they have a technological presence in the UK and capabilities that have potential to benefit the rail sector (domestically or internationally). The workshop is free to attend but places are limited and available on a ‘first come – first served’ basis, subject to the need to ensure a good mix of organisations.
