We will be holding our third IMCreate Hackathon on the 1st and 2nd of July – this time focusing on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. The event will take place in partnership with the IMPART Intelligent Mobility partnership (consisting of Coventry University, DeMonfort University, Loughborough University and Nottingham Trent University).

We are looking for coders, data scientists, business thinkers, artists, designers and creative types, to take part in our 30-hour Hackathon, which will look to find solutions to Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. An amazing cash prize of £2,000 is up for grabs with more amazing prizes to be confirmed.

The finer details:

  • IMCreate CAV Hackathon kicks off at 9:30am, Sat 1st July, at Transport Systems Catapult in Milton Keynes and will finish on Sunday 2nd July at 2:30pm
  • As well as coming as individuals and forming a team on the day, you can come with a pre-formed team if you wish (max 5), however, all members of the team must register individually.
  • 5 connected & autonomous vehicle challenges will be provided by the team. You can check out the challenges at www.imcreate.co.uk
  • Free food and drink will be provided all weekend
  • Sleep Zones will be available in the office for rest and recuperation

Showcase Final – Wednesday 12th July

The top three teams will have 9 days after the Hackathon Weekend to develop their prototype solution further for presentation at the Showcase Final, including business model and marketing ideas.  Teams will deliver 8 minute pitches in front of an expert judging panel and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be announced.
