Working with us

If you or your organisation are working on a project or in an area that promotes Intelligent Mobility, then the Transport Systems Catapult would love to hear from you.

We are here to help organisations and businesses bridge the gap between great ideas and fantastic products and services. To achieve this, we are working to break down the silo thinking that has traditionally existed between the different modes of transport, and offering a neutral meeting ground for all those operating in the Intelligent Mobility arena.

Our organisation currently contains four business units comprised of technical experts in the following areas:

  • Customer Experience
  • Information Exploitation
  • Automated Transport Systems
  • Modeling and Visualisation¬†

Some of our main partners are individuals and organisations who generally fit into the following categories:

  • Challenge owners: typically transport operators, regulatory authorities, or funding bodies seeking intelligent solutions to a transport-related challenge or problem;
  • Problem solvers: large and small businesses, software developers, manufacturers or academic bodies who are engaged in research, development or demonstration activities;
  • Clients: organisations, including government agencies and industrial R&D bodies, who are interested in funding applied research projects;
  • Knowledge hubs: other centres of excellence, including other Catapults, Higher Education Institutions, Further Education Colleges, knowledge and skills centres, and other specialist programmes, who are interested in partnering with us in specific areas of research and project development.
