The Transport Systems Catapult is overseen by an independent board comprising the Chair, the Chief Executive Officer, six non-executive directors and a representative from the UK's innovation agency, Innovate UK.

The board members are responsible for the governance and overall strategy of the organisation, and have been selected from across industry and academia, based on their significant sector knowledge and experience.
